Like it or not, BMW is coming out with its electric i3 in 2013. While BMW has yet to unveil a production version of its little city runabout, it seems pretty happy touting the concept around. This i3 Concept was spotted yesterday filming what’s presumably a new commercial in the windy city.
Chicago street as a Ford F-350 camera rig follows and films BMW’s little electric car. The only thing really noticeable about the i3 is the noise – or lack thereof. While the i3 is electric so it should be silent, the noisy diesel camera rig drowns out any hint of electric motor whine and road noise from the i3.
