2012 Lotus Elise Club Racer
The Lotus Elise has never been a car accused of being overweight, but that still hasn’t stopped Lotus from putting the sportscar on another diet to lose a few pounds.
2007 - 2011 Cadillac Escalade by Hennessey

On paper, a race against a Japanese buzzsaw called the Cadillac Escalade SUV and the ’Godzilla’ Nissan GT-R, doesn’t seem like a fair fight, especially when you consider that the ’fight’ is actually a 0-60 mph test to see which vehicle can hit the mark first. On one end, you have the Japanese buzzsaw called the Nissan GT-R, a car that has earned the nickname, ’Godzilla’. Can a three-ton SUV whose hulking mass is enough to drag itself down compete against the faster GT-R? Hennessey has made sure of it.
Long Term Update 5: 2010 Buick LaCrosse

At a club in Los Angeles with his wife, senior editor Jonny Lieberman had a shocking experience. "We parked at a lot on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, catty-corner from the Capital Records building. As I handed the car over to the valet -- a guy who, night after night, week after week, parks Benzes and Porsches and Astons and Italian cars -- says to me, 'Nice car.' And he meant it.
Toyota Mulling All-Electric Supercar
Mercedes and Audi may have drawn first blood in the electric-powered supercar wars with their SLS AMG E-Cell and e-tron prototypes respectively, but Toyota is reportedly set to take the fight to the Germans with an all-electric super sports car program of its own -- possibly with help from its new partner, Tesla.
2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X - Official Photos and Info

Dodge has recently announced that 2010 will be the last year of production for the current Viper, and that it will be celebrating with a series of limited-edition models. Following the appearance-only ACR Voodoo Edition and ACR 1:33 Edition—the latter named for the unofficial Laguna Seca lap record set by the ACR—comes the Viper SRT10 ACR-X. (For the uninitiated, all those initials stand for Street and Racing Technology 10-cylinder American Club Racer [ostensibly] eXtreme. Thank goodness for abbreviations.)
2011 Nissan Sentra SL
The small car market in the United States has been growing by leaps and bounds in the recent years and new offerings have made existing vehicles seem outdated. These machines, such as the Hyundai Elantra and the Chevrolet Cruze, make the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla seem more at home with a horse attached to the front.

The DBR1, arguably the most successful racing Aston Martin ever, was designed as a replacement for the DB3S. The similarity between the two cars is evident in the above photograph.
First Drive: 2012 Infiniti M35h Japanese Spec

When the tachometer in the new Infiniti M35h (called Nissan Fuga Hybrid in Japan) fell while we were cruising along at 40 mph, we couldn't help but do a double take. But as the needle hit zero and the car continued to hum along, we realized there were no gremlins in the system. The engine had simply cut out and we were driving in electric-only mode.
New Look, New Future, New Audi A6

The mid-level luxury car market has turned into a battle royal with the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Infiniti M and the Jaguar XF existing as some of many prestigious packages reloading for a premium sedan fight. An ultra-competitive luxury car market, the position of standing still is essentially going backwards. While a redesign of the Audi A6 occurred just two years prior, a sense of urgency set in within the Ingolstadt, Germany headquarters to freshen their important mid-sized four-door.

1000 KM Zhuhai: Audi take over the lead at Zhuhai
Having lost ground to the Peugeot’s in the first two hours the Audi drivers seemed unable to fight with their French rivals, but soon after Allan McNish had boarded the #7 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R15 TDI the lap times improved and the Scot went after Pagenaud and Sarrazin. Despite knowing he would have to come in earlier than the Peugeot McNish kept pushing and had closed down the gap to just a few tenths of a second before making his pit stop. Double stinting at Audi was a problem and the team decided not to do it anymore.
First Drive: 2007 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG

AMG didn't build its reputation for constructing manufacturer-warrantied engines with near racecar levels of output by going "easy." In 1999, an AMG-powered 349-horsepower ML55 held the super sport-utility crown alone — and many thought it was an absurd exercise in over-the-top engineering.
