Red Bull Sizzle at Monaco
Red Bull raced ahead in the Formula 1 Championship with Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel making it a 1-2 for the team. The Monaco Formula 1 race witnessed 4 safety car periods, but the Red Bulls maintained calm and took the top 2 positions, thus consolidating the team in the constructor's title. Mark Webber started the race in the front and went on to win, while team mate Sebastian Vettel had started in position 3, but overtook Renault's Robert Kubica right at the start to finish 2nd.

Red Bull had complete domination and the only thing that could cut their lead was a safety car, which actually happened 4 times during the race. The safety car was out in the final lap too, and it was expected that all the cars would cross the finish line in the positions they held. But Michael Schumacher suddenly overtook Fernando Alonso, and was penalized 20 seconds for that by the race stewards. Thus, he dropped to 12th position. Mercedes have appealed the decision, but current positions stand till the appeal is heard. As a result, all those who finished 7th to 12th, moved up a position in the final classification.
