Carroll Shelby sued for sexual assault
Alleged victim wants over $5 million

Carroll Shelby is in hot water as a former employee has filed lawsuit that alleges he sexually assaulted her and eventually fired her for reporting a rape, by another employee, at Shelby's home.

According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Angelica Smith was hired as a receptionist but ended up being a "personal servant" who would have to go on "grocery runs, liquor runs, [and] pornography runs." As a result of these issues, Smith is seeking damages in excess of $5 (ˆ3.5) million.

Shelby's attorney reached out to Jalopnik with a statement that said, "Carroll Shelby is disappointed that such wild and fantastical allegations have been made by a former employee. The fact is that her position was no longer required due to Mr. Shelby's age, health and work schedule." Additionally, "Carroll Shelby has full confidence in the judicial system and believes that the truth will come out through the legal process."
