While Jaguar toils away at designing a new and "proper" C-segment car to replace the unlamented X-Type (it's three to four years away), the XF ranks as the volume model. As such, the company has been clucking and fussing over it almost constantly since its 2008 launch. For 2012, the interior and exterior get a good going-over. Exterior enhancements were predicted by the CXF concept that appeared just prior to the production launch, and they leverage technology that now makes some of that concept's styling cues production feasible. Examples include the LED daytime running lamp treatment (which has come to be expected on cars in the class), and the "Tron"-look light-blade taillamp illumination that now extends onto the decklid.

Our spy photographers have caught the next-generation Mercedes-Benz ML SUV out testing in advance of its debut this year.
The photos are the clearest sneak-peek we've had for the popular Benz luxury SUV. Current ML350 owners will definitely recognize the new ML as related, but there are a few changes. A larger grille, revised front fascia, and teardrop-like headlights are new, as is the reshaped hood.

At 130 mph, its electronically limited top speed, the 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS should be wandering around like a wino after a jug of dry chardonnay. But it isn't. Despite sharing aerodynamics with Carnegie Hall, Chevy's new muscle-bound SUV is dead stable and…hold on a second while I pass this truck…requires nothing more than a few fingertips on the steering wheel to keep it pointed straight down the road. Even when passing these 18-wheelers traveling at half our speed…like this one…it just pours past without getting…wait a second, here comes another one…pushed around by turbulence.

The all-new 2012 Mercedes C-Class Coupe, that is rumored to be debuting at the Detroit Auto Show this month, has been spied on video at the California Long Beach Vehicle Processing Center. Covered lightly by camouflage, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe was parked next to other Mercedes-Benz models, two of them covered up prototypes that appear to be the next generation Mercedes M-Class and Mercedes SLK roadster.

This past year, Mercedes-Benz released its new E-class sedan and coupe, and now the 2011 E-class convertible has been unveiled, replacing the CLK droptop in the Mercedes lineup just as the E coupe replaced the fixed-roof CLK. The E-class sedan has long been one of the bread-and-butter cars for M-B, and the E lineup as a whole should be guaranteed bestselling-Benz status given its four-model breadth: E-class sedan, E-class coupe, E-class convertible, and the forthcoming E-class wagon.

Delayed due to Ford's financial constraints, the heavy-duty workhorse truck range is ultimately destined to receive major changes for 2007. This Crew Cab longbed 1-ton version sports a single rear wheel; word around the office says this vehicle is being tested with a new, smaller V-6 4.5-liter turbodiesel sourced from International, promising improved fuel economy.

The folks over at PickupTrucks.com appear to have a video of what might be the 2012 Toyota Tacoma truck. The 2012 Tacoma is expected to be a refreshed model, but it’s almost impossible to distinguish the truck from the video from the 2011 model. Judging from screen shots below, the front end is definitely tweaked, but the side and rear end look identical to the current model.
