The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be without question a best seller for Mercedes-Benz. To match the restyled design of the all new C-Class sedan and Estate and to reach its true sales potential, Mercedes launched a huge new ad campaign. The launch from Mercedes-Benz is set to be a major campaign that accompanies the public launch of the new-generation C-Class. With its claim to be “a class ahead”, the integrated marketing campaign coolly and confidently underscores the C-Class’s ambition to lead its segment. Thanks to a newly enhanced interior, which now meets the highest standards of design and comfort, in addition to an extremely comprehensive safety package, the latest generation of the top-selling Mercedes model offers the same high level as the current luxury class vehicles – and will once again set new standards in the compact intermediate premium segment.

At a press conference hosted by Bridgestone Corporation and the New York International Auto Show at the Geneva International Motor Show, the top three finalists for the World Car of the Year, World Performance Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year awards were announced.

Now in its third edition, the all new Mercedes-Benz SLK raises the bar when it comes to driving pleasure. The roadster offers driver’s a quick and responsive engine inside a stylish yet comfortable open-top sports car. Mercedes managed to pack all these attributes into a great looking, environmentally conscious vehicle that is built to be driven on a day to day basis. Thus making it one of the top car designs out this year. The 2012 SLK350 goes on-sale in the U.S. in June 2011.

The designers have tailor-made an outfit for the new SLK which emphasises its classic roadster proportions and puts them in the spotlight to thrilling effect. Behind the long bonnet is a compact passenger compartment positioned far back, and a short tail end. The SLK will tempt potential customers with the key attributes that characterise all the classic roadsters from Mercedes-Benz, and that have also made many of them automotive icons.

As you may remember, last summer, one of our writer’s had the pleasure of attending the PRO Mercedes AMG Driving Academy. While you only had the one article to read about the event, we heard about his experience for at least the next 6 months – making us all completely jealous and waiting for the next season of courses to attend ourselves. For 2012 the proportions remain the same but the second generation of this design trendsetter has a completely new look both inside and out. The 2012 CLS550 goes on-sale in the U.S. during the summer of 2011.

The BRABUS 800 “iBusiness” represents the world premiere of a unique luxury sedan that combines the expected high performance from BRABUS and high-tech multimedia. The 217-mph sedan is based on the Mercedes-Benz S600 and is powered by a BRABUS SV12 800 V12 Biturbo twelve-cylinder engine with 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft). But there is far more to the “iBusiness” than what’s under the hood. The rear compartment is stocked with two Apple iPads, two seat-mounted multimedia screens, a 64GB iPod Touch and a 15.2-inch headliner-mounted Mac display. Not only can these products be used for personal use, but the two iPads also control the car’s Command system, encompassing the radio, navigation and telephone systems. The whole Apple setup is powered by an ultra-small Mac Mini in the trunk that is housed in an electronically deployed drawer.

The new SLK Roadster from Mercedes-Benz sets new standards in safety. The safety experts at Mercedes-Benz have long adopted the motto, the best or nothing, coined by Gottlieb Daimler. Mercedes is not content with just hitting safety ratings, they work to attain safety levels that not only meet but far exceed standars set by the world’s legislators. The most important measure of their work is not the laboratory or crash test facility, but actual, real-life accidents. They call the results of their work Real Life Safety, a concept which is based on research into thousands of accidents. Using this irrefutable evidence, the Mercedes-Benz engineers have developed or initiated most of the assistance systems which today effectively support drivers and have been adopted by many of the company’s competitors.

Inden Design, a German based tuning firm, unveiled their latest package that aims to make the Mercedes-Benz S500 (W221) look more like the S65 AMG.

Daytime running lights are added to the tuned S-Class in addition to the retouch taillights and side mirrors. Also on the exterior, a new front spoiler, rear diffuser with integrated quad exhaust pipes and updated side sills. To finished it off, the Mercedes S500 receives an updated paint job with a charcoal gray matte film.

A leak within Mercedes allegedly leaked a sketch of a redesigned A-Class hatchback. If the leaked image is truly a sketch of what is to become the future A-Class, we are truly impressed by the new styling.

Mercedes-Benz has only just presented the new SLK and the facelifted C-Class yet already the sporty roadster, dynamic saloon and attractive estate are now available in finely crafted model car form. Each of the miniatures has been specially produced for Mercedes-Benz Accessories, and all are a delight to behold thanks to their prototypical workmanship.

Somebody from Mercedes-Benz must have seen Tom Cruise couch-jumping on Oprah. Everyone figured the G500 would die the instant this new 2007 Mercedes-Benz GL450 hit dealers. It sounded logical. The G500 began its life as a military vehicle four decades ago. No one in their right mind would choose it over the state-of-the-art GL450.

Sitting on the Mercedes-Benz stand at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2004, the first CLS astonished styling critics. Even die-hard two-seater fans liked its radical new four-door coupe design. With that hammered roof, arched body reveals and radius-ed wheel openings, the low-slung CLS500 looked more like a snazzy show car than a boring sedan. Then the supercharged CLS55 AMG soon appeared with 469 horsepower.

Normally we'd mourn the passing of an engine like AMG's supercharged 5.5-liter V8, the über-huffer that's powered many of our favorite Mercedes-Benzes. However, now that we've sampled its formidable successor, AMG's new naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, we've cancelled the wake and are planning a party instead. Woo-hoo! The new 2007 E63 sedan is the most powerful E-Class yet to blast out of Stuttgart, and it's a delight to drive, especially when the 507 horses are fully unleashed.
