For 2010 the Lincoln MKX is offering available all-wheel-drive, standard heated-and-cooled front seats and available heated rear seats. And for 2010, its 265-hp engine and six-speed automatic transmission have been extensively refined to increase fuel mileage. Prices for the MKX start at $38,345 for the FDW version and at $40,195 for the AWD version.

Mazda produced the RX-7 from 1978 to 2002 and, compared to the RX-8, it did very well. Now, after almost ten years, the Japanese company will bring back the RX-7 DNA with the launch of a new sports car called the RX-9. And, however chronologically deficient it may be, the RX-9 is being made as a successor to the RX-7 and not the RX-8. We should be seeing this new model hit the streets as soon as the RX-8 bids adieu to the market.

When the 2011 Mustang GT came out, we figured that's it, they can't make this car any better. Boy, were we wrong. To say the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is an improvement over the Mustang GT is like saying a Top Fuel dragster is kinda quick, or Robert De Niro is just another actor.
From the second you turn the red key and the Boss rumbles to life, you feel and hear the loapy cam idle and you know you're in for some fun. We headed to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to see if the new Boss is as good as Ford says it is. We ran full laps around Laguna, flat out as hard as we wanted, to really get a true sense of the difference between a GT and the Boss 302.

The previous Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG was not a compelling reason to switch your personal allegiances to the three-pointed star. Its steering was numb, the interior underwhelming, and last and maybe least, it was inefficient. Luckily for enthusiasts, a switch has flipped at AMG in recent years. AMG models are now more focused on the automaker's sporting mission than the luxurious musclecars of days past, and there's new holistic approach to design.

The Ford Fusion Hybrid has proved a highly capable commuter, but it doesn't visually stand out in a crowd like the Prius. We almost got through an entire week without having a run-in with a Porsche Puritan.

But on the last night, two blocks from home, there's one of them waiting for us at a stoplight. He, and unfortunately, it's always he, is behind the wheel of a garage-kept Targa, air-cooled, of course, 993 generation, white paint, fiddling with the manual shifter, enjoying the evening breeze.

BMW's latest M Roadster succeeds in two related ways: It grows some, ahem, "whiskers" on the otherwise masculinity-challenged Z4 with butch styling; and secondly, the implicit promise that the body makes is kept with honest-to-M3 muscle. More than a mere dress-up kit or sport pack, the 2006 M Roadster takes the finesse inherent in the Z4's already competent, baseline chassis and infuses it with heart-pounding performance derived from the M division's vast knowledge — with a little help from parts-bin raiding.

The 2007 BMW M6 Convertible is virtually the same car as the M6 coupe sans haut: same "Power" button that summons an extra 100 horsepower; same three-position damper control button; same seven-speed automated-clutch manual transmission (sadly); same variable differential lock and programmable "M" button that accesses your favorite performance settings (of the 279 possible), or as we prefer, the full-commando max-mental mode the car is capable of.

The first photos of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe have made their way onto the web.
The front of the new Mercedes C-Class matches that of the facelifted C-Class Sedan and Estate. Unique to the Coupe is that nearly everything is aft of the A-pillar. We prefer the pillarless design of other Mercedes-Benz Coupes and so we are slightly disappointed to see a B-pillar.

Dodge is serious about taking on the European market. Its new C-segment Caliber five-door is designed for the Old and New Worlds, and now it has unveiled the Mini Cooperesque B-segment 2006 Dodge Hornet concept at Geneva. Strip away the concept-car excess, and you can figure a production version of the Hornet would be similar in execution to the just-launched Caliber. Aimed at Europe's hottest market segment, it's designed to go wheel-to-wheel with the Ford Fiesta, GM Corsa, and {{{Toyota Yaris}}} as well as the VW Polo, Renault Clio, and the new Peugeot 207.
