Peugeot UK is thinking that if they attach a name that has the word "sport" in it, that it would change the look of their little hatchback. We’re not sure if they succeeded, but we give them an A for effort.

This is the Durango that was never meant to be. A sporty SUV made no sense at all to the glorified accountants from Cerberus who ran Chrysler when the 2011 Durango was being developed, so it was never in the product plan. Ironically the bloodless moneymen were, on a purely rational level, correct: Attempting to turn a truck into a sports car is ultimately an exercise in futility. But the car business ain't a rational business. If it were, there'd be no BMW X5, no Infiniti FX50, no Porsche Cayenne.

The twin-turbo, direct-injected 5.5-liter V-8 brawler of a motor serves up a spine-compressing 563 horsepower and an astonishing 664 pound-feet of torque. The car is so powerful it's silly.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is the most successful model in the Italian’s company line-up, but it never hurts to get a couple of things changed here and there to make them stand out from all of the rest. The Pantera (Italian word for Panther) was a very successful sports car produced by De Tomaso between 1971 to 1991. Since its demise, many people have undoubtedly been dreaming of what a modern day Pantera would look like. In fact, Stefan Schulze even made up his own modern interpretation of the Pantera based on a Lamborghini Gallardo in an attempt to persuade De Tomaso to produce the car once again. Whether it was this rendering four years ago or the hum of eager fans, De Tomaso has decided that it is now time to bring back the catty beast to wreck havoc on our hearts once again.

At the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, Mini unveiled two concepts that looked a little too daring for production, even by Mini standards. Called the Coupe and Roadster, they went on to receive such a warm welcome from both media and potential buyers that Mini pushed the concepts along into development vehicles. The folks over at PickupTrucks.com appear to have a video of what might be the 2012 Toyota Tacoma truck. The 2012 Tacoma is expected to be a refreshed model, but it’s almost impossible to distinguish the truck from the video from the 2011 model. Judging from screen shots below, the front end is definitely tweaked, but the side and rear end look identical to the current model.
